Duluth Figure Skating Club Overview
The Duluth Figure Skating Club was founded in 1926. Today we have approximately 200 members (individual skaters, coaches and board members) and we are open to new membership. Duluth offers Learn to Skate Classes for ages three to adults. The DFSC follows the Learn to Skate USA protocol, endorsed by US Figure Skating, USA Hockey, USA Speedskating, and Special Olympics. The Duluth Figure Skating Club uses the USFSA Basic Skills Program for Learn-to-Skate classes. Our program encourages ice skating at all levels and is designed to keep students excited about skating from the time they begin until they achieve their goals. Learn more about Learn to Skate.
Our Purpose
The purpose of the Duluth Figure Skating Club is to encourage instruction, practice and advancement of the members in any or all of the disciplines of figure skating; to encourage and cultivate a spirit of fraternal feeling among ice skaters; and to carry out the general policies and objectives of the United States Figure Skating Association. The club is devoted to developing the potential of each club member.
